Retro 14kt Rose Cut Diamond Buckle Bangle Bracelet
An absolutely fabulous gold diamond bangle bracelet from the Retro (ca1940s) period! Crafted in vibrant 14kt yellow gold, this attractive piece is fairly wide, graduating slightly towards the back, and has a textured surface comprised of a vertical ridged design that carries around the entire piece. Gracing the front is a stunning Victorian era (ca1880s) raised buckle at its center. The rectangular-shaped buckle, which was originally a pin and added later to the piece, is crafted in sterling-topped 18kt yellow gold. The piece displays four large old Rose Cut diamonds at the center, and various sized diamonds throughout in a gorgeous flowing milgrained cut-out design along the top and bottom. The diamonds are all prong set and collectively have an total approximate weight of 4ctw, adding an incredible amount of sparkle and elegance to the piece. The bracelet is hinged and opens at the side with a simple push clasp stamped "14K" on the tongue and a safety hook provides added security. An elegant and very fashionable piece, it would make a bold statement worn alone or stacked with a group of similar bracelets!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/4" wide and approximately 2" tall. The surface is approximately 1 1/4" wide on the front and 7/8" wide on the back. The buckle measures approximately 1 7/8" wide and 1" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage or dings to the gold or silver and the diamonds are all secure and intact. The clasp and safety hook are both secure and in good working condition.
