Retro Platinum & Diamond Cutout Hearts Ring
A gorgeous diamond band from the Retro (ca1930) era! This stunning ring is made of platinum and has a beautiful and feminine design with a romantic hearts motif. Carrying around the front of the ring is a row of seven sparkling old Mine Cut diamonds, which are held within individual heart-shaped settings. The graduated hearts are surrounded by open cutout shapes and have an alternating upside-down pattern. As the hearts reach the back of the band, they gradually become smaller and have a smooth platinum face. The width of the band tapers in and is the narrowest at a smooth section at the very back. A lovely and dazzling piece, it looks fantastic worn on its own, but would could also be stacked with other complimentary rings if desired. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection and perfect gift for someone special!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75 but could possibly be re-sized slightly if needed. The band measures 1/4" wide and at the front and 1/8" at the narrowest point at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are intact. The band appears to have been resized at some point due to the smooth section at the very back, where the heart shapes end. However, this is not visible when worn.
