Retro Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1.25ct
A beautiful diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1943) era! This gorgeous piece is made of platinum and holds a sparkling old Mine Cut diamond at the center of a lovely setting. The center diamond is held in a claw-prong setting and has a total weight of 1.25ct with L color and SI2 clarity. On either side of the center diamond are four baguette cut diamonds along with 2 fancy cut stones that are diamond in shape. The fabulous design creates a beautiful and unusual look which is stunning when worn. The shank is stamped "100 PLAT" and has the hand engraved initials and date "H.M.P. '43". The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist in April 2015 and has a stated retail replacement value of $9,000.00. This stunning ring looks lovely when worn and would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.25 but it could easily be re-sized up or down if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are intact.
