Retro Platinum Natural Burmese Ruby Diamond Ring 1.54ct
A beautiful Retro natural ruby and diamond ring from the 1940's! This lovely piece is crafted in platinum and adorns a single natural ruby resting in between two sparkling diamonds. The prong-set center stone is round in shape, weighing approximately 1.54ct and is a natural, unheated ruby of Burmese origin. The stone is beautifully faceted and displays an incredible, vivid magenta red color that stands out dramatically against the setting. The two diamond accent stones are old Mine Cuts and collectively have an overall approximate weight of 0.25ctw. The platinum band tapers slightly towards the back and is stamped "900 PLAT. 100 IRID." along the shank. Accompanying the ring is a Gemological Ruby Origin Report issued by GIA (Gemological Institute of America), which confirms the stones' stated characteristics. A stunning gemstone ring, it would make a wonderful piece for everyday wear and special occasions, or a gorgeous engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.25 but could easily be re-sized up or down.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and the ruby and diamond stones are all intact and securely set.
