Victorian Sterling & 14kt Rose Cut Diamond Ball Pendant Necklace
Originally a Victorian era (ca1880) stick pin, this miniature diamond ball has been converted in a wonderful and wearable pendant! This stylish piece is made of silver and has a 3-dimensional spherical shape. The outside of the piece is completely encrusted with delicate rose cut diamonds, which are set within the ball's surface, giving it a wonderful sparkle! All of the diamonds are pavé set, weighing approximately 1.00 ctw combined. A 14kt yellow gold bar is riveted through the center and a gold ring at the top hangs from a 14kt modern gold chain. A special and very unusual piece, it merges seamlessly into modern day fashion and would compliment any ensemble!
Measurements: The ball pendant hangs 3/4" long (including the bail) and has a 1/2" diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or rose cut diamonds, all of which are intact. The gold ring for hanging is secure and in good condition and the clasp of the chain is secure and in good working condition.
