TANE Vintage Mexican Sterling Wavy Gatelink Bracelet
This stylish bracelet is a vintage 1960's piece signed by Tane, a primary Mexican silver house based in Mexico City. The bracelet is crafted in sterling silver and has a wavy gate link design. The connector links are accented with raised bead accents, each dipped in bright yellow gold. The subtle two-tone appearance gives additional dimension to the lovely design. Each interlocking link has 4 rows of wavy gate links, forming a wide bracelet that wraps comfortably around the wrist when worn. The final link functions as a latch clasp disguised within the design. Stamped on the back of the piece are several maker's hallmarks, including "TANE MEX" and "925." A wonderful example of Mexican sterling jewelry, this fashionable vintage bracelet would make a great everyday addition to any collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures 7" long and would fit nicely on a medium/average sized wrist. The bracelet measures 1 1/8" wide and approximately 1/4" at the thickest point.
Condition: The bracelet is in very good vintage condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting. The latch clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition. The gold finish on a few of the bead accents has now become slightly faded due to age and normal wear, but it does not detract from the overall appearance of the piece.
