Victorian 12kt Moonstone & Diamond Cluster Ring
A wonderful and unusual moonstone and diamond cluster ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely ring is made of 12kt yellow gold and is comprised of a flower-like cluster of delicate moonstone cabochons surrounding a single diamond. The moonstones resemble small orbs, and have a wonderful translucent pale blue color with iridescent flashes. Each of the moonstones and the center diamond are prong-set within a crownlike mounting. The sides of the ring display an absolutely gorgeous filigree design complete with antique engraving that enhances the shoulders. It's a very delicate, feminine piece with a unique combination of stones that look wonderful paired together. A simply beautiful ring, it would make a lovely addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6 but could be resized. The cluster has a diameter of approximately 3/8" and rests 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the diamond and moonstones, which are all intact.
