Victorian 12kt Persian Turquoise Hanging Earrings
An incredible pair of Persian turquoise earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of 12kt yellow gold, each earring is covered in a pavé design of natural turquoise stones, which display a magnificent range of blue and green colors. Each earring hangs from a surmount comprised of a circular pavé turquoise link, and a larger pavé turquoise circle hangs below. Dangling freely from the bottom is a row of five individual turquoise stones, which hang from a turquoise-lined panel link. At the top of each earring is a simple 14kt gold wire, though they could be converted to posts if desired. A spectacular pair of earrings with a strong Victorian look, they make a gorgeous statement and are perfect for any turquoise lover!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 7/8" long, measures 3/4" at the widest point, and has a depth of 3/16".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold, and all of the turquoise stones are intact.
