A wonderful pair of petite moonstone earrings from the Victorian (1880s) era! This classic and beautiful pair of earrings is crafted in 14kt rosy yellow gold and each holds a single moonstone cabochon at the center. The alluring clear stones have a strong blue flash that comes alive in the movement of open-backed claw settings. The mountings adorn three-dimensional faceted triangular accents which encircle the stones, and each hangs from matching clasped earring wires allowing for lovely motion. The earrings fit seamlessly into modern-day fashion and would be a fabulous addition for everyday wear!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 11/16" long, including the earring wires, and the dangling link design measures 5/16" at its widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The moonstones are intact and securely set. The earring wires are secure and in good working condition.
