Victorian 14kt Carved Banded Agate Teardrop Earrings

A beautiful pair of banded agate earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each of these earrings is hand carved into a long teardrop link, and set in 14kt gold. The banded agate stones are smoothly polished, and display an incredibly beautiful pattern of natural stripes, which include earthy shades of black, white, deep brown, and beige. At the top are complimentary round surmounts, also carved from banded agate, with gold posts hidden on the back. When worn, the earrings frame the face perfectly, dangling with lovely movement. They would make a gorgeous addition to any jewelry collection!

Measurement: The earrings hang 1 3/4" in total length. The teardrop links measure 1 1/4" long, measure 1/2" wide at the base, and are about 1/4" thick. The circular surmounts measure 1/4" in diameter.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold findings or earring posts and backs. The carved banded agate stones are free of any visible chips or surface scratches.
