Victorian 14kt Circular Diamond Filigree Pendant

SKU: 33149

A charming filigree pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely piece is crafted in 14kt gold, and has a "puffed" circular design with a hollow center. The surface displays a filigree motif with geometric wirework. At the center is a delicate accent diamond, adding a wonderful sparkle! The reverse side of the piece is left smooth, and a decorative gold bail is attached to the top, perfect for hanging the piece from a favorite chain. A wonderful everyday piece, it would be right at home in any jewelry collection!

Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 1/8" long (including the bail at the top). The circular pendant itself measures 3/4" in diameter, and is 1/4" thick.

Condition: The pendant remains in excellent antique condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or filigree details. The diamond at the center is intact, and the bail at the top is securely attached. It appears that an original set of engraved initials may have been polished away, or faded considerably with age. They could be fully removed or replaced if desired, however, they are not visible when the piece is worn, and are only noticeable under close inspection. There is a natural patina on the surface of the gold setting, which is a normal characteristic of antique jewelry.
