Victorian 14kt Gold Garnet Diamond Ring

SKU: 41002

$595
A beautiful multi-gemstone ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 14kt rosy yellow gold, the design features a brilliant oval-shaped garnet which is prong set at the center. The unique cut of the garnet displays a smoothly polished face with fine facets encircling the outer edges of the stone. Two Single Cut diamonds are set on either side of the garnet and an ornate etched design can be found along the shoulders of the band. The garnet displays a luscious rich red color - the perfect compliment to the gold setting and the design is completed with a smooth gold band, which tapers in slightly as it nears the back. A personal inscription can be found along the inside (likely added years after its production date) which reads "Bill to Lois Love 12-25-61."A lovely Victorian ring, it would make a gorgeous addition to any antique collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.5, but could easily be re-sized. The centerpiece measures a little less than 1/2" tall and 3/8" wide. The gold band measures 3mm wide at the back.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to any of the gemstones, all of which are securely set.
