Victorian 14kt Moonstone & Demantoid Garnet Cluster Ring
A magnificent moonstone and demantoid garnet ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of 14kt yellow gold, this beautiful ring has a stunning moonstone center, which is bezel set within the gold mounting. The translucent moonstone is substantial in size and has iridescent flashes of blue that catch the light beautifully. Surrounding the center moonstone is a row of 18 luscious demantoid garnets, which are beautifully faceted and add a wonderful pop of color to the piece! The gold band has a simple, smooth design and there is a horseshoe collar attached within the shank to keep the ring securely in place on the finger. A gorgeous and and eye-catching piece, it makes a fabulous statement when worn!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5 but could easily be re-sized if desired. The moonstone and garnet centerpiece measures slightly less than 1" tall and is approximately 5/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, moonstone, or garnet stones, all of which are intact.
