Victorian 14kt Old Mine Cut Diamond Maltese Cross Earrings 1.00ctw
A lovely pair of dangling diamond earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring is crafted in 14kt rosy yellow gold, suspending two sparkling old Mine Cut diamonds at the center of raised prong settings. The stones at the base are slightly larger than the top stone, each weighing approximately 0.38ct (totaling 0.75ctw combined), and have an estimated I-J range color and VS range clarity. The larger bottom link is topped with a subtle gold Maltese cross which attaches to the sparkling diamond surmount. The smaller diamonds each weigh approximately 0.12ct (0.25 combined) and perfectly complete the stunning design. The earrings hang from simple gold wire which allow for comfortable wear. Both simple and beautiful, these lovely diamond earrings are perfect for everyday wear!
Measurements: The earrings hang a little more than 1" long (including the wires at the top) and measure approximately 1/4" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the diamonds are intact, free of chips, and are securely prong set.
