Victorian 14kt Mine Cut Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring .40ct
A lovely diamond engagement ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful ring is made of 14kt yellow gold and holds a single Old Mine cut diamond suspended in the center of a 6-prong setting. The handmade mounting is simply beautiful, with a scalloped design below the prongs and swirled etched detail at each shoulder. The sparkling center stone weighs approximately .40ct and has J color and SI1 clarity. A delicate and feminine piece with a very traditional Victorian style, and looks simply stunning when worn. It would make a wonderful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.25 but it could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the diamond stone is intact.
