Victorian 14kt Onyx & Gold Stars Ball Pendant
A fabulous onyx ball pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stylish piece is made of solid black onyx stone, which is carved into a 3-dimensional spherical shape with a glossy, smoothly polished surface. The outside of the pendant is accented with 14kt yellow gold stars, which stand out dramatically against the bold black background, creating the effect of a beautiful starry night sky! A fluted gold bail rests at the top of the pendant atop a large gold star, making it simple to hang and wear from your favorite chain. Stamped on the bail is "14K" along with a small maker's hallmark. A very eye-catching Victorian piece, it merges seamlessly into modern day fashion and would compliment any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ball pendant hangs 1 3/8" long (including the gold bail). The onyx ball itself has a 1" diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the onyx or gold star accents, all of which are intact. The gold bail is secure and intact.
