Victorian 14kt Pearl Trio & Diamond Ring
A beautiful pearl and diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This artistic ring has a handmade setting crafted in 14kt yellow gold. A trio of natural pearls line the surface of the ring, framed by 8 delicate single cut diamonds that are nestled in between. The combination of the lustrous pearls and sparkling diamond accents is quite feminine and lovely! Completing the design is a flowing band with a scrolled filigree motif at each shoulder, meeting at a smooth gold shank at the back. Stamped inside the shank is "585." A gorgeous example of Victorian era jewelry, this ring would make a beautiful everyday accessory that could be worn alone or stacked with other bands!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5, but could be resized slightly. The pearl design at the center rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The center pearl measures approximately 6mm in size, and the outer pearls measure about 5mm each.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, or to the pearls and diamonds, all of which are intact. There is a natural patina on the surface of the gold setting, which is normal for antique jewelry and adds to its beauty and character. A few small traces of glue can be seen at the edges of the pearl under close inspection, but are not noticeable when worn.
