Victorian 14kt Pearl & Turquoise Crown Necklace
A beautiful crown necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely and delicate pendant is made of 14kt yellow gold and has a beautiful royal crown design. Shimmery white pearls represent the seven points of the crown, while the center is formed by a gorgeous flowing design with shapely cutouts. A fine engine-turned pattern gives the surface of the gold a subtle wash of texture. Delicate natural turquoise stones decorate the base of the crown, giving the piece a colorful accent. The pendant hangs from a gold cable chain attached to two hidden bails on the reverse side of the crown. The back of the piece is stamped "14KG" and the chain fastens securely with a spring ring clasp in the back. A beautiful and feminine necklace, it is perfect for everyday wear and would make a lovely gift for someone special!
Measurements: The necklace measures 16" long. The crown pendant itself is 1 1/4" wide and 7/8" tall. The total pennyweight of the piece is 5.1 dwt.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the pearls and turquoise stones are intact. The chain and clasp are secure and in good working condition.
