A wonderful enamel flower pin/pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely and feminine piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and portrays a vivid flower in bloom with a rich purple enamel surface. The 3-dimensional design features curved asymmetrical petals that curl out from the center. A single Old Mine Cut diamond rests on one of the petals at the side, a lovely sparkling accent! On the back of the piece is a gold pin clasp and a hidden swinging bail, allowing the flower to be worn on a chain or fastened to a favorite garment. It's a simply beautiful piece and is perfect for the collector of antique enameled jewelry!
Measurements: The flower has a diameter measuring approximately 1 1/4" and is about 1/2" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. The enameling remains in excellent condition and there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The diamond accent is securely prong set and intact. Both the pin clasp and swinging bail are secure and in good working condition.
