Victorian 14kt Repousse Diamond Starburst Pendant Necklace
A beautiful diamond pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely 14kt yellow gold piece features a delicate old Mine Cut diamond resting at the center of an etched starburst design. Surrounding the center starburst is a swirled repousse border that forms a lovely scalloped motif. The back of the pendant is hollowed out, making it lightweight and comfortable to wear. Resting at the top of the pendant is a fluted bail, allowing it to hang beautifully at the necklace from a 14kt gold modern chain. A wonderful everyday pendant, it would make a lovely addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 1/8" long (including the bail at the top), measures approximately 7/8" in diameter, and is about 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or repousse detail. The diamond is intact and securely set. The bail on the pendant and lobster clasp on the chain are both secure and in good working condition.
