Victorian 14kt Rose Gold & Amethyst Ring
A gorgeous amethyst ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! At the center of this lovely 14kt rose gold piece is an oval-shaped amethyst stone. The amethyst is beautifully faceted, catching the light when worn. The combination of the rose gold setting and purple hue of the stone compliment each other perfectly! At each shoulder is a decorative pillar design, which is complete with cutouts and engraved detail that extends along the outside of the band. A simply stunning ring, it is perfect for any amethyst lover!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.25 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the rose gold setting or the amethyst stone, which is intact and securely set. The inside of the shank shows the letters of an engraved description, which is now only partially visible due to normal wear. At the back of the band is a subtle color variation at one small area, which indicates it may have been resized at some point.
