Victorian 15kt Hanging Vessel & Ball Earrings
A lovely pair of hanging gold earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of vibrant 15kt yellow gold (indicating English origin), each earring has a dramatic design comprised of hollow ball and vessel links that hang from a structured rectangular frame. At the top is an oval surmount attached to a long gold earring wire. All of the hanging links swing freely with lovely movement when worn. The untouched natural patina lends an authentic antique appeal to their overall appearance. Despite their substantial appearance, the earrings are very lightweight and comfortable to wear. They would make a wonderful addition to any Victorian collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 2 1/4" long and measure 1/2" at the widest and thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the wire surmounts, which are secure and intact.
