A beautiful gemstone ring from the late Georgian (ca1820s) era! This gorgeous piece is crafted in 18k yellow gold and features a beautiful row of luscious rubies and sparkling single-cut diamonds across the front. The five prong set no-heat Burmese rubies graduate in size and display a stunning reddish pink hue. Eight small single cut diamonds line the scalloped edge bordering each side, further complementing the intense ruby color. The plain band tapers slightly towards the back. Stamped along the inside of the band are a slew of English hallmarks, dating this 18 karat gold piece directly back to 1822. A wonderful piece, this gorgeous Georgian ring would make a stunning addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5, but could be easily resized if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the rubies and diamonds are securely set.
