Victorian 18kt Banded Agate Diamond Cluster Ring
A gorgeous banded agate ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful ring is made of 18kt yellow gold and holds a banded agate cabochon at its center. The lovely agate stone has a smoothly polished finish, and displays wonderful natural coloring. A band of creamy white lines the center, separating the deeper hues of rich caramel and brown. Surrounding the banded agate is a radiant border comprised of delicate old Mine Cut diamonds, which rest in a scalloped setting and add a gorgeous sparkle! Completing the design is a wonderful gold band detailed with hand-engraved chevron accents. A beautiful Victorian era ring, it would make a special addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7, but could be re-sized. The agate and diamond centerpiece measures 1/2" wide, 3/8" tall, and rests 1/4" high above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the banded agate stone and diamonds are all intact.
