Victorian 18kt Black Enameled Diamond Ring 0.65ct
An outstanding diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This fantastic piece is crafted in vibrant 18kt yellow gold, and has an impressive enameled design. Resting at the center is a gorgeous six-point star engraved motif which holds a sparkling old Mine Cut diamond. The stone, which is particularly superb, has a total approximate weight of 0.65ct with G/H color and SI2 clarity. Rich black tracery decorates almost the entire surface of the mounting, forming a soft, flowing design while the wide shoulders taper in as the band nears the back. When worn, the ring looks positively magnificent, and would make an impressive addition to any Victorian jewelry collection or could make a beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.75. Due to the unique enameled design, significant re-sizing is not recommended, however, it could be resized slightly if desired. The elaborate centerpiece measures approximately 3/8" tall and wide. The gold band measures approximately 3mm wide in the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the diamond is intact. The black enameled design has a couple very minor surface chips, however, none are noticeable when worn.
