Victorian 18kt Gold 5-Stone Sapphire Ring 4.00ctw
A gorgeous 5-stone sapphire ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stunning piece is made of vibrant 18kt yellow gold, and features five oval sapphire stones that are prong-set across the front. Each sapphire stone is beautifully faceted and displays a deep blue hue, with all five sapphires together weighing approximately 4.00ctw. The stones graduate slightly in size, with the largest sapphire resting in the center. The smooth yellow gold band tapers in towards the back and is stamped with a small hallmark inside the shank. A very striking and eye-catching piece, it would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.75 but could easily be re-sized. The curved row of stones across the front measures approximately 7/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or sapphire stones, all of which are intact and securely set.
