Victorian 18kt Gold Bangle Bracelet with Pavé Turquoise Domed Motif
A striking turquoise bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in rich 18kt yellow gold, this stunning piece features a belly-front style adorned with three domed shapes encrusted with pavé turquoise. A twisted gold rope carries across the graduated width of the design, elegantly coiling and overlapping between the circular shapes. The natural turquoise stones vary slightly in size and shape, all displaying exceptional color in vivid shades of robin's egg blue with slight green variation. The bracelet is hinged, opening at a secure push clasp on the side. This outstanding piece makes a dramatic statement and is simply breathtaking when worn! Perfect for any turquoise lover or Victorian collector, it would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The interior of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall, and would fit nicely on an average-sized wrist. The dome-shaped centerpiece has a 1/2" diameter and rests 1/4" high. The bangle measures 7/8" at the widest point and tapers on the underside, measuring about 7/16" wide at the narrowest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold setting. The hinge and push clasp are both secure and in good working order. The turquoise stones are all intact.
