Art Nouveau 18kt Sapphire & Diamond 6-Stone Ring
A delicate sapphire and diamond ring from the Art Nouveau era (ca1907)! This beautiful 6-stone piece is made of 18kt yellow gold and carries a lovely and feminine design. Lining front of the ring is a graduated row of 2 vivid blue sapphires and 4 sparkling Mine Cut diamonds, which have an attractive alternating pattern. All of the stones rest in a prong setting, and a swirled gold filigree design is visible from the sides. The gold band is simple and smooth and tapers in towards the back. The ring has the following initials and date hand engraved along the shank: "FWJ to MG 11/10/07" as well as "18CT". A wonderful and timeless gemstone piece, it could be worn alone or stacked with other bands. It would make a special addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.5, but could easily be resized up or down if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the gemstones are intact.
