Victorian 9kt/14kt Diamond Sliver Crescent Pendant Necklace 0.90ctw

SKU: 44164

A stunning diamond pendant conversion necklace from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This gorgeous piece is comprised of a 14kt rose gold crescent that hangs from a vibrant 9kt rosy yellow gold chain. The sliver-shaped crescent is lined with 25 old Mine Cut diamonds which vary in size, the three largest stones set at the center while smaller stones are set towards the tapered points. The prong set stones weigh approximately 0.90ctw in total, sparkling beautifully against the rose gold in their open-backed settings. The pendant is hung East to West rather than vertically, a variation that is both unique and stylish, and attaches at either side to a gorgeous rosy yellow gold chain. The chain is marked "9C" towards the back and secures with a spring ring clasp stamped "-14K-". This celestial piece fits seamlessly into the modern woman's collection and would look breathtaking at any time of day or night.

Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 18.5" long, including the curvature of the pendant. The crescent itself measures approximately 1 1/2" wide, 3/16" tall, and 1/4" thick.

Condition: The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or chain. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
