Victorian 9kt Banded Agate Ring
A beautiful banded agate ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This lovely ring is made of 9kt gold (indicating English origin) and holds a wonderful banded agate stone at its center. The banded agate is smoothly polished into an oval cabochon shape and has a rich, deep brown color banded with a stripe of white. Surrounding the banded agate stone is a simple closed back bezel setting with a fine twisted rope border. Completing the design is a smooth band that meets at a split shank accent at each shoulder. A naturally beautiful and versatile design, the ring merges seamlessly into modern day fashion and would make a perfect everyday accessory!
Measurements: The ring has a large finger size of 11, but could easily be re-sized up or down as desired. The banded agate and diamond centerpiece measures 3/4" tall and 5/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the banded agate stone, which is secure and intact.
