A beautiful and meaningful pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Of Austrian origin, this lovely piece is made of 800-900 grade silver and has an enameled design with a special message. At the top is a red enamel star emitting engraved rays of light. Surrounding the star are the German words "ER SEI DEIN GLÜCKSSTERN" in black enamel letters, translating to "He Be Your Lucky Star." A cutout border with light hammered detail completes the design, and a name is engraved on the back. The piece hangs from a silver bail at the top, and would look perfect worn on a favorite chain. A charming and sentimental Victorian era pendant, it would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1" long, has a 3/4" diameter, and measures less than 1/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or enamel design, which is free of any noticeable chips or scratches. The bail for hanging is secure.
