Victorian Banded Agate "Faith, Hope & Charity" Charm
An unusual and meaningful charm from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This unique carved banded agate piece is comprised of three individual charms, each symbol representing a special meaning. The cross represents faith, the anchor represents hope, and the heart represents charity. The banded agate is smoothly polished and displays a wonderful range of rich, striped colors in shades of deep brown, tan, grey, white, and caramel. All three charms are connected to a simple sterling ring at the top, which could be hung from a chain or added to a special charm bracelet. This sentimental and Victorian charm has special significance and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The charm hangs approximately 1" in total length (including the ring for hanging). The anchor measures 3/4" tall, 1/2" wide, and 1/16" thick. The cross measures 1/2" tall, 3/8" wide, and 1/16" thick. The heart measures 1/2" tall, 3/8" wide, and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the charm is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to any of the three banded agate charms, and the sterling rings are secure and intact.
