Victorian English Sterling Etruscan Bangle Bracelet
A beautiful sterling silver bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) period! This lovely bangle has a beautiful and intricate Etruscan wirework design covering the front surface. The pattern is comprised of delicate beadwork, rows of raised bars, and small wirework hearts in the center. The reverse side of the bangle is left smooth. Stamped inside are several English hallmarks, including the letter "b", an anchor, a lion, and the initials "R.J." The bracelet is hinged and clasps with a small push clasp at the side. A wonderful Victorian piece, it is a perfect everyday piece that would look stylish stacked with similar bracelets!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/4" wide and approximately 1 7/8" tall. The surface is 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting or Etruscan details. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
