Victorian French 18kt Oval Mine Cut Diamond Ring .80ct
A beautiful diamond ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Made of 18kt yellow gold, the ring is French in origin and holds a single sparkling diamond at the center of a multi prong crown setting. The stone is an oval-shaped Mine Cut diamond, which weighs approximately .80ct with K/L range color and SI2 range clarity. The shoulders of the ring are engraved with a trio of grooves that travel along the sides of the band, simple and lovely accent. Stamped on the outside of the band is a small French hallmark. The simple Victorian design is both delicate and feminine, and the unusual shape of the Mine Cut diamond adds a lovely touch. It looks gorgeous when worn and could make a special engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 4.75, but could easily be re-sized up or down if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting, and the diamond stone is intact.
