Victorian Gold Filled Split Fancy Ring with Charms
A lovely collection of charms from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This unique piece is comprised of 3 individual Victorian charms which hang from a fancy gold filled ring. The ring, which splits open easily allowing you to remove or add charms, has a simple yet lovely reprousse design which carries along the surface on both sides. Dangling from the ring is an ornate carnelian fob, a banded agate heart and another slightly larger heart carved from mauve colored agate. The agate charms are smoothly polished and display wonderful, rich coloring and the carnelian seal features a bird in flight. The ring and collection of charms would look fabulous hanging from a simple gold chain and the piece would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The collection of charms hang approximately 1 5/8" in total length (including the ring for hanging) and is 7/8" at the widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the charm is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to any of the charms, and the gold filled ring is secure and intact.
