A stunning Scottish agate pin from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This gorgeous piece is made of sterling silver and portrays a circular shape formed by various agate "links". The pin, which has a 3-dimensional look, carries a beautiful design that resembles large interlocking chain links. The agate varies in color and shape and each is set in a raised manner, with hues of orange, brown, tan, and white. On the back of the pin is a long pin clasp and smooth sterling silver backing. Measurement: The pin measures approximately 2 1/8" tall and wide and has a depth of slightly less than 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of this pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the agate or to the sterling silver setting. The pin clasp is secure and in good working condition.
