Victorian Long 15kt Gold Teardrop Earrings
A beautiful pair of dangling teardrop earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! These lovely English earrings are made of 15kt yellow gold and have an elongated vessel-inspired design. The long hollow links hang from a simple surmount and earring wire at the top, and have lovely swinging movement when worn. Despite their substantial size, the earrings are quite lightweight and comfortable to wear. They frame the face beautifully and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/4" long from top to bottom, and measures 3/8" wide and thick at the teardrop's base.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is very good. There is some light surface wear and subtle color variation to the gold, including an untouched patina and a light patch on the back of one of the teardrop links. There are no visible dents, dings, or scratches to the gold surface, and the earring wire tops are secure and in good condition.
