Victorian Long Sterling Silver & Garnet Chain 60"
A fantastic chain necklace from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This attractive piece is comprised of sections of engraved sterling silver links that form a long, stylish chain. Interspersed throughout the necklace are double-sided garnet cabochon links. Each beautiful garnet stone displays a luscious, deep cranberry color and has a smoothly polished surface. At the center of the chain is a large spring ring and watch swivel clasp, making it easy to double the chain for a layered look, or hang a complimentary pendant or locket if desired. A very versatile piece, this wonderful chain is perfect for everyday wear, and would compliment any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The entire length of the chain measures approximately 60" long. Each engraved link measures 1/4" long and 1/8" wide. The garnet links measure 3/8" long and 3/16" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling links or garnet cabochon stones, all of which are intact. The watch swivel clasp fastens securely and is in good working condition.
