Victorian Silver Topped 18kt Diamond Crescent Necklace
This diamond crescent necklace from the Victorian era (ca1880) is absolutely gorgeous! Made of sterling-topped 18kt gold, this stunning necklace is comprised of a single crescent moon pendant that hangs from a vibrant 14kt yellow gold chain. The crescent is detailed with Old Mine cut diamonds, which have a total approximate weight of 3.50 ctw and create an incredible, sparkling effect! The bead set diamonds vary in size and are graduated, with the larger stones in the center. The yellow gold chain fastens in the back with a spring ring clasp marked "585". Condition: The necklace is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling-topped gold setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact and securely set. The chain and spring ring clasp are secure and in good working condition.
