Victorian Sterling & Banded Agate Double Bead Earrings
A fabulous pair of banded agate earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Each earring features two large banded agate beads that dangle freely from sterling silver wires. In between each large banded agate stone is a small black onyx bead, a perfect accent! The banded agates have a gorgeous striped design with a creamy white band that hugs the center of the deep brown sphere. All of the beads are smoothly polished for a rich, glossy finish. A wonderful and simple design, these stylish earrings would look stunning worn in the modern day and are a perfect everyday accessory!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 3/4" long from top to bottom. The largest beads are 20mm in size, the smaller beads are 15mm, and the smallest accent beads are 4mm each.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is very good. All of the banded agate and onyx beads are intact and the sterling findings and wires are secure. One of the banded agate beads has a small, shallow chip on the side, which is very minor and not noticeable when worn.
