A wonderful sterling silver locket from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stylish locket has a double-sided design that has been embellished with an embossed border. The textured detail wraps around the exterior of the piece, framing a smooth, raised center. The embossed design has a lovely scalloped pattern with delicate beadwork details, and a similar pattern decorates the complimentary bail from which the locket hangs. When opened, the locket reveals spaces to store two special photographs inside behind removable fitted glass frames. A beautiful example of Victorian era jewelry, the locket would make a special keepsake addition to any collection!
