Victorian Sterling Pyramid Stud Bangle Bracelet
A fantastic sterling silver bangle bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This stylish piece is particularly wide and features a raised repousse design decorating the front surface. The pattern incorporates three rows of pyramid studs surrounded by delicate beadwork detail. The bracelet is hinged and fastens with a hidden push clasp at the side. Two hallmarks are stamped on the tongue of the clasp, which read "S&S" and "Sta." The interior of the bangle is also stamped with several hallmarks, which include "CS" "FS" and the symbols of a lion, a face, and the letter "G." A striking Victorian piece, the bracelet is rich in detail and displays exemplary craftsmanship. Worn alone or stacked with other complimentary bracelets, it would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The surface of the bracelet measures approximately 1" wide. The inside opening (where a wrist would rest) measures 2 1/4" wide and approximately 2" tall and would fit nicely on an average sized wrist.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is very good. The clasp and hinge are secure, and there is no apparent damage to the raised pyramid stud design. There is a subtle oxidized surface on the face of the bracelet, adding further depth to the 3-dimensional design.
