Victorian Sterling Silver Enameled Flower Anchor Pin/Pendant
A beautiful and unusual anchor pin/pendant from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this gorgeous piece forms the shape of a substantial anchor and features a lovely enameled floral motif. The entire front surface of the anchor is adorned with delicate Forget Me Not flowers, which are raised and have a 3-dimensional look. The flowers vary slightly in size and are enameled with lovely blue petals and bright yellow centers. On the back of the piece is a bar pin with a c-catch clasp and the ring at the top of the anchor can be used as a simple bail to hang from a chain. This feminine and unique piece has a wonderful look and displays excellent craftsmanship. It would make a very special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The anchor pin/pendant measures approximately 2" wide, 7/8" tall, and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin/pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the enameled surface. The pin clasp and bail are secure and in good working condition.
