Vintage 14kt Citrine, Pearl & Ruby Bug Pin
A wonderful vintage bug pin from the 1960s! This detailed piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and has a 3-dimensional design. A faceted citrine stone forms the lower half of its body, which is framed by two textured gold wings. A lustrous white pearl forms the bug's head, and two vivid rubies represent its eyes. Six bent gold legs peek out from the underside of the bug, and a secure bar pin with a c-catch clasp rests underneath. The back of the piece is stamped "14K" and "585." This delightful vintage piece is a wonderful example of insect-inspired jewelry and is perfect for any collector!
Measurements: The pin measures approximately 1" long, 1 1/8" wide, and 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the pearl, citrine and ruby stones, which are intact. The pin clasp is secure and in good working condition.
