Vintage 14kt Enamel Pearl & Diamond Cat Pin
This vintage enameled cat pin from the 1950s is such a wonderful piece! Made of 14kt yellow gold, the pin is incredibly detailed, representing a 3-dimensional cat playing with a ball. The intricate enamel design represents the cat's fur and facial features, and includes rich shades of violet, black and shimmery white. Two bright green gemstones represent each of the cat's eyes, and a single white pearl held in its raised paw represents a toy ball. Wrapped around its neck is a collar lined with sparkling diamonds, a wonderful finishing touch! On the back of the piece is a simple bar pin and clasp, allowing it to be easily fastened to a favorite garment. Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or enamel detail, and the pearl and diamonds are all intact. The pin clasp is secure and in good working condition. The back of the piece reveals a natural patina present on the surface of the gold, which is normal for a vintage piece and adds depth to the design.
