A Vintage sodalite bead necklace from the 1960s era! This simple yet eye-catching piece is comprised of 21 round sodalite beads which alternate with 65 vibrant yellow gold beads which are strung in a one to three bead pattern. The sodalite is smoothly polished and has magnificent coloring, which varies from bead to bead, displaying intense deep blue hues, shades of greyish blue and light green marbling. The yellow gold beads have a smooth surface with a matte appearance and their vibrant color pairs perfectly with the sodalite stones. The beads are strung on simple gold chain, and the necklace fastens securely at the back with a gold spring clasp which is stamped "14K." It's a fabulous, easy-to-wear necklace that would make a lovely addition to any collection!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 17.25" long. The diameter of both the sodalite and gold beads measures approximately 5mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sodalite or gold beads, which are securely strung, and the gold chain and clasp are secure and in good working condition.
