Vintage 18kt Gold Coral Lantern Pendant
A fabulous Vintage coral pendant from the 1960s! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold, this wonderful three-dimensional piece has a lantern-shaped design and features nine beautiful coral stones. The four-sided pendant holds a single oval-shaped cabochon coral stones on each side, four smaller round coral stones on the top and a larger round stone on the bottom. Gorgeous ornate prongs hold each coral stone in place, and fabulous twisted wires form the corner arms of the lantern. The same twisted wire creates an "X" motif at the top of the pendant, ending in four round beads and attaching to the bail at the intersecting center. The open pendant is light in weight and comfortable to wear and features rectangular cutouts throughout, allowing any admirer to see inside. It's a wonderful and unique pendant and would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs a little under 1 3/8" long, including the bail, and measures approximately 7/8" wide, at its widest.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, coral stones, and the bail is secure and intact.
