An outstanding vintage labradorite necklace from the 1940s! This fantastic piece is comprised of 19 graduating links, each made of polished labradorite stone. Simple wrapped wire connectors link each stone together, meeting at a gold-filled filigree clasp in the back. The labradorite is simply exquisite, each stone displaying a mesmerizing range of iridescent colors. When turned in the light, the labradorite reveals shimmery flashes of light in shades of green, blue, grey, deep violet, lavender, and gold. The filigree clasp has a wonderful floral motif and is marked "GOLD FILLED" on the back. When worn, the necklace drapes beautifully at the neckline, making a striking statement piece. Beautiful in its natural simplicity, this wonderful necklace would make a special addition to any jewelry collection!
