Hamilton Watch Company, established in 1892, was integral to the American railroad system by supplying accurate watches. Hamilton watch released the world’s first battery-powered watch in 1957 and eventually the first LED digital watch in 1970. Boasting a long history of innovation seamlessly intertwined with style, Hamilton timepieces are a wonderful addition to any watch lover’s collection.

A gorgeous Vintage Hamilton women's watch from the 1960s era! This stunning timepiece from the Lady Hamilton collection is crafted in 14kt white gold and displays a design of approximately 0.40ctw of sparkling Single Cut diamonds. The gorgeous diamond-encrusted cocktail watch has a feminine, round face and features a stylish crescent and flourish motif on each side. The watch hands point to a mix of dagger and round indices on a white face that reads "LADY HAMILTON", their rotation powered by winding the fluted crown on the side. A diamond link bracelet secures the watch to the wearer’s wrist and an attractive airline decorates the sides, completing the lovely design. The bracelet closes with a double-hinged latch (stamped "KEEN" in an oval and "-14K-") and has a spring ring safety chain for additional security. The back of the watch case is stamped “HAMILTON” and “14K GOLD-BIGGS”. The watch looks beautiful worn alone or could be paired with complementary bracelets, and is perfect for a special occasion!

Measurements: In its current state, the watch clasp allows for the piece to be worn at either 6 1/2" or 6 5/8" long, however, it could be further adjusted if desired by removing links. The central watch case measures approximately 16.5mm in diameter, not including the crown, and the diamond link bracelet measures 1/8" wide.

Condition: The watch is in excellent overall condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set and the crystal face is intact and free of chips or scratches. The double-hinged latch and safety chain with the spring ring are both secure and in good working condition. Watches of this era should be cleaned and oiled periodically as part of proper maintenance, and at current time, the timepiece is keeping good time.
