A gorgeous vintage engagement ring from the 1960s! Made of platinum, the ring features a champagne diamond at the center, framed by two Trillion cut diamonds resting at either side. The sparkling center stone is an old European Cut diamond which weighs 0.85ct with M+ color and SI2 clarity. The diamond color grade is just shy of a fancy yellow and when worn, it faces up as a sparkling light fancy yellow stone. The side trillion cut diamonds weigh approximately 0.40ctw and have I-J color range and SI clarity range. All three diamonds are prong set in platinum and create a striking contrasting color diamond ring. The raised prong design has a stacked airline cutout visible from the side, and a simple, smooth band completes the design. The shank is stamped "PLAT" and the ring was appraised in March 2016 by an accredited, independent GIA certified gemologist and has a retail replacement value of $4,00.00. A simply stunning piece, the ring would make a perfect and glamorous engagement ring.
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7 but could easily be re-sized as needed.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum mounting or to the diamond stones, all three of which are intact.
